NEW THIS WEEK
OUR RALLY SCHEDULE IS POSTED. PLEASE CHECK IT IF YOU PLAN ON MEETING US SOME WHERE AS IT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
Is everyone ready for Bike Week, Daytona? We are. This year we will, once again, be at Daytona Fun Machines located on US Hwy 1 in Holly Hill, FL. Daytona Fun Machines is the Honda/Can-Am dealer in the area. This year there will be additional vendors as well. If you are in the Daytona area, stop in and see what Wing Bling has to offer you.
This is a die-hard Gator fan. Many of you may recognize Geno, our Supervisor/Installer. This past year we completed a project on Geno's white GL1800, making it white with red and blue trim.
Now, Geno has taken his 2003 GL1800 and given it that "Euro" style with no top trunk. He has also added some accessories in Blue with Black Marble to make this a truly fan owned Gold Wing.
This email was sent to us a few weeks ago and we wanted to share it with you all. It was sent by one of our repeat customers who lives in CO.
"To Whom It May Concern:
Well, I learned the hard way that you CANNOT beat the workmanship and quality of product that Wing Bling delivers. I had Michael & Karla transform my 2012 White Gold Wing almot 2 years ago to the prettiest 'white over blue' Gold Wing one could imagine. This fall, I bought my wife a 2013 blue Gold Wing and had it triked. We wanted it to be the opposite color scheme of my 2-wheeler, and the person in CO that painted the trike kit offered to paint the lower pieces at a substantial savings from Wing Bling's prices. What's the old saying? Yep, that's right, 'You get what you pay for!'
The local painter's work was good, but not near the quality that Michael & Karla produce out of their facility in Florida. So, if you want the BEST at a fair price, stick with Wing Bling! You will NOT regret it in the long run, I assure you!
Many thanks to Michael & Karla for all they do for GWRRA members as well as other motorcyclists! I can't say enough!
Hope to see you down the road!
Randall Drake "
Kenny loves Clemson University. He loves them so much he had us put their Tiger Paw logo on his front speaker screens. Show your support! We can add your favorite team, sport, organization, etc. to your speaker screens too!
Look how beautiful these speaker screens look on Kenny's bike.
Look at these beautiful powder coated Candy Red wheels with this Candy Red GL1800. Outstanding! John Ford chose to powder coat his wheels for a really sharp looking Gold Wing. Great choice John!
This is Chuck Miller and his 2013 GL1800. He looks happy now, but wasn't when he brought his bike to us. Someone key checked his bike from one end to the other. Right through the paint to the body. It was a mess! We repainted with a Cadillac color, Black Diamond, which Chuck requested. The bike came out beautiful. Much prettier than in the pictures. Please click on this picture to go to a page of pictures of this bike.

Al, pictured here with his beautiful 2013 Candy Prominence Red GL1800, had his Wing Bling done with a color match base and a heavy dark marble and some red flake. The work sparkles in the sunshine. Al also had our airbrush artist paint flames on his exhaust shields. He is now on a motorcycle vacation touring our lovely country.
He looks happy...don't you think?
These beautiful bikes were completed at the Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club National Event in Houston, TX. Even though our installers had to work under some adverse conditions, the work came out beautiful!

This beautiful 2013 GL1800 in Alizarin Red is owned by Glenn Townson. Glenn chose our medium carbon fiber to accent his bike. Glenn has also added some of Kuryakyn's Black Out accessories. We painted his saddlebag covers to color match his bike making the black out lights stand out even when not lit. We also color matched the lower part of the cockpit to complete the look. Thank you Glenn, your bike looks fantastic!
Russ Ryss of FL has added color matched pieces with our "fish scale" pattern. What Russ likes is that the pattern is very subtle and from a distance it barely visible. But as you walk up to it the pattern becomes more and more evident. Russ says it's like getting a little surprise each time you approach the bike. So glad you like it Russ! We also color matched Russ' trailer to match his Cabernet Red GL1800. Click on either of the pictures below to go to see more pictures of the work we did on this bike.
This beautiful 2012 GL1800 is owned by Richard Ingis of New Jersey. He has had Wing Bling put on some different pieces that most others and do we like the way it looks! Richard had us do the bottom of his trunk which adds a nice detail to the rear along with the rear fender below it. Thanks so much Richard!
We featured this meter panel a couple of weeks ago, but check out what Jim has added. The license plate trim and scuff plates look AWESOME on his F6B! Love this bike and Love this pattern. Reaper skulls. If you are into skulls we have many patterns to choose from. Contact us for a more extensive selection than what we have online. Thanks Jim, we think your parts look great!
Do you have a favorite team? A favorite organization? Maybe your Chapter designation? What a nice way to diplay a logo. Specialty Graphix can add any of the above to your speaker screen covers. We can a military insignia, your rank or your ride name. Robert, meter panel on your right, chose the Baltimore Orioles to add to his screens. We can add the loga over your color and pattern or can just do the screens. All plain screens with logos are first painted black and are clear coated to avoid the fading that occurs over time. Check out our Speaker Screen tab on the left or ask and see what we can do for you!
Who says you can't put skulls on a Gold Wing? Not Billy Rae! He has added one of our skull patterns, Dead Headz, to his titanium GL1800. Click on the full bike picture to see some of the rest of the work.
For those of you who don't know...we have a Facebook page. It is Wing Bling by Specialty Graphix. Please join our group. We sometimes post pictures there that don't make it to the website. We also have friends from all over the word so you get to see how folks customize their Gold Wings in Europe, Russia, Scandanavia, Africa and numerous countries as well.
This is a new Kuryakyn accessory called an Air Foil. It is designed to alleviate much of the air cavatation that hits the passenger in the back of the head and shoulders. This one is in 2002 Illusion Blue with the "Fish Scale" pattern.
Mr. Frank Wynn of FL rode his Topeka Gold GL1800 to our shop to have his Wing Bling installed. Click on his picture to see how beautiful his parts came out.
Meet Rusti Boykin. A valued customer and friend of ours. I have posted a letter below that Rusti has sent to Wing World Magazine. She asked if I would share with you here.
When you own a Gold Wing, you like to dress it up and proudly show it off, in my case I was handed down my husbands 1994 GL 1500, so I had to change things a bit just to make it mine. I had a complete custom console kit done by “Wing- Bling”. Mike and Karla Rubin, owners very nice and fun to work with, helpful but not pushy. I was so proud and happy showing off “My New Ride”! Then in June of 2009 I had a serious accident, luckily no frame or motor damage, however much of the “Tupperware” was destroyed. My repair facility ordered all that was needed to fix my baby back up, But there was a slight problem the color didn’t quite match I assumed it was due to fading of the older parts.
Now two years after this accident I was at another Rally and Mike said to bring my bike over for display, when he looked at it he remarked “ What is wrong with you bike”! I reminded him of the accident and said its’ just sun faded, NO WAY! was his reply, this won’t fade.
Well this is when you find out just how reputable a company can be. Mike said he would replace the entire console kit and at no cost to me! I was so shocked . Knowing that this issue wasn’t entirely his fault made me feel a bit uneasy, so we (me and Michael) came with a new plan that I could feel good about. He would do the kit and I could pay ½ of the installation cost.
Keeping to his word in July at “Wing-Ding35” Michael and his crew installed the new “matching” kit ,my ride is once again BEAUTIFUL! Michael and Karla stood behind their product and reputation, a vendor that all of us should be proud and happy to do business with.
Kudos to Mike & Karla Rubin! From a very happy rider.
Kudos to you Rusti! Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know we're doing something right. It takes special customers to keep a business going and we know you're one of them!
Below are some new pictures of some of our work. Not all the work is new, but the pictures haven't made it onto the website till now. All of them are links to other pages of pictures of that bike. Hope you enjoy the variety of colors and patterns our customers have chosen to accentuate their bikes.
No, you're not seeing double! That is Ed and Jeanette with their 2002 GL1800 Illusion Blue on the right and their newly painted 2012 GL1800 Illusion Blue on the left! Ed loved the color SO much on his 2002 that he had us paint his brand new 2012 the same color. We have to say we are ALL very happy with the finished look. Ed picked out a relatively new pattern that is gaining in popularity, we call it fish scales. Click on the picture above to see more pictures of the Wing Bling on this beautiful bike. Thanks so much to Ed and Jeanette for giving us the opportunity to service their painting needs. Please click on the picture above to go to a page of pictures of Ed & Jeanette's bike.
This is Neal Munn of Savannah, GA. Another happy customer! Who wouldn't be with that beautiful GL1800! Our installers went to Neal when he couldn't make any other arrangements and got everything in tip top shape.

Sarah and Pete of Bike MP3 chose Specialty Graphix to paint Sarah's Pacific Coast, pictured above. We did not only the Black with the water drops, but the entire bike. The Pacific Coast needed some tlc with several body parts needing repair. After all repairs were made, the bike was painted pearl white with black/water drops being used on all the accent pieces. Our in-house air brush artist added Sarah's name to the back and Voila! it is ready for the open road. Thanks to Sarah and Pete for entrusting us with this complete restoration and hope that Sarah has many safe and enjoyable miles on her Pacific Coast. Click on this picture to see a page of pictures of Sarah's bike.
This beautiful 1999 GL1500SE is owned by Jay and Melanie Bogle. Their trike is a Pearl Silver/Dark Silver two-tone that looks mauve sometimes, silver sometimes. They chose a silver/grey base with our closed marble pattern to compliment their trike. As you can see in the pictures here, the newly painted parts look silver sometimes and pick up the color of the bike other times. Thanks so much to Jay and Melanie for choosing Wing Bling for their trike.
This beautiful bike is owned by Richard of Fayetteville, NC. Richard is a returning customer who decided to change the look of his bike from solid white to a stunning blue with a black marble vein running through it. Much of the chrome you will see on this bike was on it before the parts were painted. In many instances, if your chrome is in good condition, it can be removed and the tape replaced or rejeuvenated to use on your bike again. Click on this picture to see more of Richard's bike.
This beautiful trike is owned by Pete and Shirley of Texas. They LOVE sea turtles. They have watched them, read up on them, swam with them and now they Ride with them! Pete and Shirley discussed what they wanted to put on their trike, brought us some pictures and we turned Rich, our air brush artist, loose. Click on this picture to go to a page full of pictures. By the way, Pete and Shirley now LOVE their trike!

Not everyone likes patterns. Some folks like solid paint work. If that is your taste, then let Specialty Graphix whip up something to your liking. We do solid color paint work as well as patterns. We also do graphics and color blocking. Check out these two examples below. A white bike with red pin striping and an upper kit in red. Wow, looks beautiful. And this 2012 in Glint Wave Blue was color matched on all the black and silver parts. Call today for an estimate or to discuss plans for your next project.
Ms Twyla Jones wanted something subtle, discreet, ghostly almost. She chose to add our lava pattern over her pearl white Wing. The effect is perfect for her. The lava is a silver pattern which allows alot of the base color to show through. You can see it best on the glove box door. Click on it for a bigger picture. In the sun the pattern is more pronounced but in less light it is very ghostly.
This beautiful white trike is owned by Henry Waxler of Texas. He has put a "lightning bolt" pattern on his parts. It is quite colorful, especially on white. This is not a pattern that could go on just any color, but with the white...WoW! Thanks Henry!
Click on the picture on the left and go to close up pictures of the cockpit or go to our 1500 page under Gold Wing Products.

Herbert of Tampa, FL has had usBling his beautiful Nebulous Black Metallic GL1800 with a gorgeous shade of blue, our closed marble and a little extra added Bling (blue flake). There will be more pictures of this bike posted as soon as they are available. Thank you Herbert!

The Upper Kit is all the black plastic parts from the windshield to the trunk, painted the color of your choice in solid paint or a pattern of your choice. Hiram added the battery side covers which we think look fantastic! Thank you for everything!
Wow! What a compliment for us! BEST PAINT at a local show. Congratulations Mike!
Check out this beautiful Harley! Michael of Citrus County, FL had us paint his 1996 Road King a beautiful electric blue with mild snake skin all over. After he saw the beautiful audio fairing we did for Mike (see below), he had us add one to his bike too. All painted pieces are patterned in the mild snake skin. Click on any of the pictures for a larger view. You'll notice we have painted some chrome accessories to match the bike. A little accent here and there, a splash of color. It can make your bike unique to you. Thanks Michael!
Mike from Ocala, FL chose Specialty Graphix to provide his Yamaha Silverado with an audio fairing and custom paint. GL1800 '01-'05 Center Console
We have finally figured it out! Since 2006 Wing Bling has been trying to figure out how to paint and pattern the center console on the 2001-2005 GL1800. The rubbery surface and the flexibility of the piece have made it difficult to figure out. But we finally have the right procedures and applications to make this piece now available to our customers. So if you have a 2001-2005 GL1800 and you would like to finish your cockpit area with this new piece call today to place your order. Click on either of the pictures to go to a page of pictures of Sue's trike.
Charyn and Darryl Scrivens of MD have entrusted Wing Bling to add some extra special touches to their Topeka Gold GL1800. Thank you so much for your vote of confidence and for choosing Wing Bling to accessorize your GoldWing.
NO BIKE? NO PROBLEM!
Wing Bling can paint and/or pattern anything with a rigid surface. Call us today to discuss your project.
Andy Karakos of NC is pictured here with his second Gold Wing he has asked Wing Bling to dress out for him. Andy chose our Black Open Marble pattern over "Candy Apple Red" backround to compliment his pinstriping and mural by Scarecrow. Because of his Red White and Blue theme the red worked in very well. He has also added an Ulitmate Seat from the Ultimate Seat Company in a two-tone black with red ostrich to finish the custom look.
Scott Adams of Brooksville, FL has added an audio fairing and a pair of "police" style saddlebags to his 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. UPDATE! The Wing Bling Team would like to congratulate Mr. & Mrs Daoust! They attended their first GWRRA District Rally in Kissimmee, FL, entered their first bike show and took 1st Place in their class! Way to Go!
Mr. and Mrs. Daoust have chosen a new and absolutely beautiful pattern for their GL1800 trike. It is called "Lava". They chose to put this pattern over a color match to their bike, a wonderful metallic silver. They had us add an overall multi-color glitter to give their trike a little extra "Bling". Thank you so much!
Steven Anderson of Maitland, FL has chosen Wing Bling to complete his 2008 Nomad 1600. He has added an audio fairing and a rear trunk, color matched to his bike. The difference is stunning. Steven modified the trunk brackets to move it forward so he can use it as a driver backrest. The finished product is beautiful.
This 2006 GL1800 is the pride and joy of Isaiah and Joyce Rice of SC. They chose (Joyce chose) a beautiful burl wood over Topeka Gold. The metallic quality of the Topeka Gold gives the wood a richness and depth that they loved. And we love the way it looks on their bike. Thank you so much!
Do you love camo? But EVERYBODY has camo... on their truck? Let Wing Bling show you a whole new way to look at camouflage. We can accent your bike or color match your ride and apply a camouflage pattern over it. Or choose something totally wild like purple camo, teal camo, orange metallic with camo. We now have available digital camo and military camo. See our patterns section for a complete selection.
Specialty Graphix can color match your audio fairing or saddlebags for you. We do not provide them, but can provide the correct color match for your year and model bike. Give your cruiser a total make over with Wing Bling!
These beautiful skins belong to John and Pam Ackerland of Panama City. They decided to have a theme done on their H-D Softail. Our airbrush artist, Rich Inman worked with them on their sketches and we all came up with a plan. The bike is painted saphire with bold snake skin applied. Then Rich went to work transforming their bike parts into a dragon. We hope to have pictures of the finished bike very soon. A big Thank You to John and Pam who put their faith and trust in Wing Bling to present them with a paint job they can be proud of.
This beautiful GoldWing Trike is owned by Gerald Burnham of Escondido, CA. The trike conversation was done by So Cal Trike Center in San Marcos, CA.
